Mr. Jack Hynes CEO, started our company in 1970 in the ship repair business, originally working exclusively for C.A. Crosbie Shipping, carrying out the maintenance and repairs on several small general cargo vessel’s which were mainly trading between Montreal, East Coast and the Arctic.<\/p>\n
After a couple of years of experience under his belt, he ventured out on his own offering a full range of repair services to the local shipping community, predominantly with foreign vessel trading in our area.<\/p>\n

1980<\/strong><\/span> Purchased the well-established ship repair firm of W.F. Walsh Ltd.<\/span>
\n1982<\/strong><\/span> Acquired the license from the Metalock International Association.<\/span>
\n1983<\/strong><\/span> Mount Royal Marine Repairs Ltd. closed its operations at shed 23 and moved in with W.F. Walsh Inc. whereby the companies were formally amalgamated under the name Mount Royal\/Walsh Inc.<\/span>
\n1985<\/strong><\/span> Purchased our new 76,000 sq. ft. property at 2101 Aird Ave.,just moments away from the Port.<\/span>

\n1998<\/strong> <\/span>Purchased the UHP waterjetting system that allowed us to evolve and become MRW Waterjetting Incorporated. <\/span>
\n1999<\/strong><\/span> Opened new offices in Baltimore, Maryland and Sept-Iles, Quebec. Purchased a computer controlled CNC Plasma Cutting Table<\/span>
